As a devout Halo fan, I was underwhelmed by this figure. I don't mind the pixelated visor as it conjures those glorious early Xbox days. But the articulation is lackluster. Don't expect much out of maneuvering the arms or legs; it can hardly strike a pose other than chief cradling the gun, and it was a pain getting him to stand upright as the feet don't quite plant down firmly. These things wouldn't normally bother me but this cost $60. Way overpriced, $30 max I'd say. Nonetheless, I'd still pick this over the other master chiefs purely for nostalgia purposes. This, too, came in earlier than anticipated so much kudos to the seller. Would definitely buy from them again.Great detail and the size is perfect but try not to play with the articulation too much! It will begin to fall apart! Best opinion, move the joints limited lyrics to a stance of your liking then leave it alone! Overall love halo and this well put together figure!I absolutely love this for I got it for Christmas and it said it was going to arrive on December 31st to January 11th and it arrived on December 24 all in all it was a great figure and kudos to amazon for it arriving a few WEEKS before expected time.This action figure allows the master chief inside of me to interact with the real world in real ways. I channel my master chief personality through this character into every day life so that I no longer have to suppress it. Since owning this action figure my status around the neighborhood has gone up, I get more respect, and I've been picking up the ladies!!I give this a five star because the product was as advertised. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for the anniversary action figure. Whether the product can do what you want it to do is not pertinent to what they describe as what it can do. Sometimes collectors are over-demanding with expectations.Good articulation, great detail. My favorite Master Chief look out of them all, glad they finally made a figure of it.The shoulder pads prevent his arms from going up very high and the hip joints can be finicky, but otherwise a great figure.My 8yr old son loves this.It doesn't move as good as the newer models but the detail on Master Chief is impressive.My son LOVES Halo, so I got him this figurine for Christmas. He really likes it, but finds it difficult to play with as the accessories are difficult to attach the way they were meant to be, like it doesn't fit. It is oddly jointed as well.I've not been the most avid collector of McFarlane toy's Halo figures but have picked up the occasional figure, and I have to say that I've been disappointed. Not with this figure though, as most figures suffer from loose joints and shabby paint jobs that don't warrant the price tag. This figure however, has nice stiff and sturdy joints with a decent enough paint job to warrant the price.Accessories:Chief comes with one frag grenade that follows the pixelated design that the figure goes for and an assault rifle that kinda has a decent paint job, lacking in detail but does the job with its simple black and metallic grey colour scheme. This rifle does come with a weapon peg to attach to chief's back.Paint:Chief has an excellent paint job, featuring the best I've seen in a while and especially on the later Halo 4/5 figure line. The paint features a light and solid, slightly textured paint that really gives the minimalist figure a real shine that can only be described as nostalgic.Sculpt:Sculpt on this chief is made in a way to look like the graphics of the original Halo, but also manages to include a lot of nicely sculpted detail.Verdict: Get this figure if you love chief and want a solid, stiff jointed chief that feels heavy in the hand and brings a presence to the shelf that few figures do this day and age.Bought this figure to complete my Master Chief armour evolution collection! Beautifully made figure, I particularly appreciate how McFarlane stayed true to how big and "blocky" his armour was in the old days of 2001/2, bringing it to life in the shape of a small figure, rather than maybe rounding parts of the armour to make it look smoother.Only problem, which isn't THAT big of a deal, is that it comes with a Halo 3 style Assault Rifle, rather than the awesome CE Assault Rifle. Regardless, if you're a Halo fan, who's been playing since the first game, get this figure!so i'm going to get the bad outta the way first.... the figure is small and thats about it. so aside from the size of the figure its perfect, there are some nice battle damage parts on the armour which are really detailed. The low-polygon design suits the master chief well and really adds to the old-school effect. now the articulation is ok but movement is quite restrictive due to other parts being in the way but this doesnt bother me much. the assault rifle included seems a little too small and it is modelled after the halo 3 weapon which really shouldnt have happened in my opinion but aside from that this figure is very nostalgic and reminds me of the first time I laid eyes on the chief back in halo ce. very detailed and stylish, well worth the 9.95 asking price.This figure is amazing. This is a must buy for Halo fans/ Collectors. The fact that the figure is based on the original Combat Evolved gives it a nostalgic feel. There are very little things wrong with this figure, my only problem is the rifle and the fact that it won't stay on the back too good. Aside from that, this is an excellent figure, and I recommend it to all who are looking for a good Halo figure.Arrived on time , my grandson is obssessed with halo , he loved it .Good price point too. these products are well made
